Hi there, my name is Patrick McGonigle and I am a certified Technician and addicted web designer based in Harrow, London UK.

I am an ambitious technician with a strong technical background who possesses self-discipline and the ability to work with the minimum of supervision.  Possessing a good team spirit, deadline orientated and having the ability to organise and present complex solutions clearly and accurately.

A quick learner who can absorb new ideas and can communicate clearly and effectively. Currently looking for a opportunity to join a dynamic, ambitious, growing company that offers room for progression.

I have been working with computers since 1999, but It was only recently that I decided to boost my profile by training for the necessary qualifications to help me advance within the IT industry.

I enrolled on a IT Technician course at St. Dominic's College in Harrow, which on successful completion in October 2010, gained my first certification as a CompTIA A+ IT Technician.

I am currently studying for Networking, and aiming for a Cisco (CCNA) qualification in the later part of 2011.

When I'm not fixing computers, then you will find me using them instead (excessively). Most of my usage is taken up by the designing and developing of websites either for personal satisfaction, or for business.

I love to build dynamic websites and apps using the worlds most popular CMS (content management system), Joomla! And for the design aspect I use the Gantry Framework, which is built on the 960 grid system.

To bring these site to life I use all the latest web standard technologies available such as jQuery, HTML, CSS and PHP, and I am currently loving CSS3 and HTML5.
